Yes, you read that right. Ladies … you can wear pajamas to work and still look incredibly chic, put together and on top of your game. Impossible? Not at all, check it out.
Bammies, the work wear line founded by two fabulous Miami entrepreneurs, Rosario Chozas and Julia Ford-Carther, just released their second collection, and it’s a game changer. Aiming to elevate comfort for all women in the workplace, Bammies is a core collection of comfortable yet chic staple pieces to get you through those incredibly long days.
Season 02 has a beautiful mix of every work wear essential, designed to help women feel comfortable in their attire, and ultimately confident in their own skin. This season features not only a wide-leg pant in two colors, but a sophisticated trouser, chic jumpsuit, and sexy gaucho pant worthy of slaying at any happy hour. There’s also a ¾ sleeve dolman-inspired blouse, a tank, and a smart blazer rounding out the collection. But there were two pieces that I instantly fell in love with in Season 02 …
First up, the crisp white, and incredibly soft, Rose Top. All summer I was on the hunt for a newer take on a traditional cotton t-shirt. I was looking for something a bit more modern, and a lot less casual.
The Rose Top is made from men’s suit-shirt poplin and is finished with a boxy-yet-feminine-feeling cut. It feels very European and swanky to me (clearly, as I wore it constantly on our recent trip to Italy). It’s a knockout piece that should be in every woman’s closet.
Sale Alert! This beautiful blouse is currently on sale, so grab yours now! Or, head over to my Instagram page where I've partnered with the Bammies team to give away one Rose Top!
NEXT UP ...
My other favorite? The kimono-inspired, and machine washable, Connell Dress. With beautifully draped sleeves and an A-line wrap style, this elegant and chic dress is made for in-office presentations, cocktail hours after work, and hustling around on the weekends.
It’s flexible, yet functional. Yes that’s right ladies, a wrap dress that actually stays put. I have been hard-pressed to find one, and I often avoid wrap dresses for this very reason (it’s not a good look to be constantly adjusting your dress during the work day). This one fastens with two interior snap buttons along the cinched elasticized waist, and one discrete snap button along the opposite waist line.
The Connell feels very regal and elegant. Pleating along the back of the dress create a lovely shape, and the lightweight material drapes well from top to bottom. An elasticized waist hits at just the right spot to accentuate the smallest part of the female torso, and can be played up with belts or a black ribbon! Meet your new favorite LBD.
Cheers to getting comfy like a boss. Thank you to the beautiful and bright team at Bammies for giving working women everywhere a comfortable and chic work week. XX
