As the holiday season draws near, so does the magical time of year for annual office parties, company get-togethers, and lunches/dinners/drinks with vendors or clients. It’s a time to mingle with colleagues, meet new faces at your firm, and have the inevitable awkward conversation with that strange gent from accounting (why do they always work in accounting?). Fortunately, this doesn’t have to be a time of increased holiday stress! It is incredibly easy to make the most of this festive time of year by following a few simple do’s and don’ts. Here are my top tips for making a fabulous splash at your holiday office festivities.
My firm's annual holiday party is traditionally in a business-formal setting. So, this year I'll be wearing this stunning floral jaquard dress from Long Tall Sally, coupled with a pair of black suede, scalloped edged pumps.
To add some holiday sparkle, in a classy and tasteful way, I'll be throwing on this glittery foiled boucle jacket, also from Long Tall Sally. The jacket is fully lined for the colder temps we've been having in New York, while looking unique yet professional as an open front blazer.
